For PDFs, also remove:

Comments & annotations Attached files Scripts (JavaScript)

These are part of the document's content, so they are only removed if you tick them.

Use generic file names (e.g. image_1_clean.jpg)

File names can reveal things too — for example "ChatGPT Image…".

Open this page in Safari.
Tap the Share button (square with an arrow).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Open it from the Home Screen icon. After the first visit it works without internet.

Tips for iPhone photos

Picking from Photos may give the app a converted JPG copy, and iOS may already strip location. To clean the original HEIC exactly as stored, first save it to Files ("Save to Files"), then pick it with Choose File.
To save a cleaned photo back to Photos, tap Save / Share and choose Save Image.

What this app cannot remove

Anything visible in the image or on the page (text, faces, signs, screen contents).
Invisible watermarks woven into the pixels themselves (e.g. Google SynthID). No metadata tool can remove those.
In PDFs: hidden text, layers, form data, or content covered by shapes. This app cleans PDF metadata; it is not a full document sanitizer.
Unsupported formats (GIF, WebP, TIFF, RAW, video, Word). These are refused rather than partly cleaned.
